Five Vineyard

The Vella family, parents Paul and Caroline, and their children Alex, Sam and Olivia, moved to their Mernda farm in 1997. Over the years it has been a goat dairy and a cattle farm.

The family decided that a change was needed so they did some research and discovered that the slope of their land and the quality of their soil was perfect for wine growing so planted chardonnay, pinot noir, shiraz and sangiovese grapes, followed by a stunning modern facility housing a restaurant, cellar door and function spaces.
